Privacy policy

This page says what we keep about you, who else handles it, and how long we keep it.

What we store

• Your Google identity: your email address and name.
• The birth details of each person you add. This includes a child added by a parent.
• The words you type, in the intake boxes and as questions.
• The answers and reports written for you.
• Order records: the product, the amount and the order id. We do not store card or UPI details.
• Server logs.

Who else handles your data

Some of your data passes through these companies. Each does one job.

• Anthropic, our language-model provider. To write an answer, we send the computed chart text and your question to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's API terms apply, and those terms do not use the data to train models.
• Cashfree Payments, which takes your payment. Card and UPI details go to Cashfree, not to us.
• Supabase, which runs sign-in.
• DigitalOcean, Bangalore, India, which hosts SaralKundli.
• Open-Meteo, for city search. It receives the typed city name only.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete the person or your account. Deleting a person deletes their birth details, conversations and reports. Bought reports for that person can no longer be opened.

Server logs are kept for 30 days.

Cookies and storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We use browser storage to remember your language and the last person you used. We run no advertising trackers.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for access to your data, correction of it, and its erasure. You can also raise a grievance. Send your request through our contact page.
